Trader Joe’s enthusiasts are in for a treat as the beloved fall food item, Pumpkin Brioche Bread, makes its return. The rollout of this seasonal favorite has shoppers eagerly flocking to stores, although not every location has it available just yet.
“This buttery, moist bread is utterly appealing, impressively pumpkin-y, and downright delicious,” boasts the Trader Joe’s website.
The retailer explains that their supplier dedicated significant effort to merge the adored brioche texture with the rich taste of smooth pumpkin, resulting in the Pumpkin Brioche Twist. Priced at $4, this bread features “buttery” and “pumpkin-tinged” flavor bursts that perfectly complement its classic brioche consistency.
A Taste of Autumn
Infused with a delightful blend of warm autumnal spices, including cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg, this bread is a seasonal must-have. While consumers often enjoy the pumpkin bread on its own, Trader Joe’s suggests toasting a slice and pairing it with Lactose-Free Cream Cheese or butter for an even richer flavor experience.
Additionally, the grocery chain is also offering another fall classic: their Pumpkin Oat Beverage, which is generating excitement among shoppers this season.

An Instagram account dedicated to popular Trader Joe’s products recently highlighted the highly anticipated Pumpkin Brioche Twist, boasting over 850,000 followers. The post shared by @traderjoesobsessed quickly garnered over 4,000 likes, with many eager shoppers expressing their enthusiasm.
“The pumpkin brioche twist and pumpkin bagels are back now. Life is complete. They are so good with the pumpkin cream cheese. FYI, the maple fudge is also back!!” the account captioned.
Comments from followers included excitement over the brioche’s return, with one consumer stating, “Omg I’ve been waiting on the brioche, now I can finally plan a trip.” Another chimed in, “Life is better now that pumpkin brioche is back,” while a third joked, “I think a field trip is in order.”
Mini Bags Making a Comeback
But that’s not all Trader Joe’s fans are buzzing about. The retailer has announced the return of its mini tote bags, which were first launched in March 2024. These bags quickly went viral and sold out, leaving many fans disappointed. Fortunately, shoppers will have a second chance to purchase the highly sought-after totes, with availability confirmed in stores as of September 18. However, these are labeled as a “limited product,” so securing one may prove challenging.
In the meantime, Trader Joe’s customers are entitled to a small payment following a consumer warning regarding a potentially hazardous product. Plus, fans are eagerly anticipating the arrival of a popular drink that’s making its way to Trader Joe’s locations nationwide.
