Ohio 2024 Presidential Election: County-by-County Breakdown of Results
Former President Donald Trump was projected to win Ohio in the 2024 presidential election, according to the Associated Press, just hours after the polls closed. With nearly 80% of the votes counted, Trump led Vice President Kamala Harris by a margin of 55.9% to 43.3%. Trump had also won the state in 2020, securing 53% of the vote compared to Joe Biden’s 45%.
A closer look at the partial and unofficial vote totals across Ohio’s 88 counties revealed some regional voting trends. Harris was leading in the state’s urban centers, including Cuyahoga, Franklin, Hamilton, and Lucas counties, which contain Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, and Toledo, respectively. Other counties where Harris was ahead included Montgomery, Athens, Summit, and Portage. However, the rest of the state was heavily favoring Trump, following a similar pattern to the 2020 election.
In the 2020 presidential race, Biden won Cuyahoga County with 66% of the vote, Franklin County with 64%, Hamilton County with 57%, and Lucas County with 57%. Other counties such as Montgomery, Summit, and Athens also leaned toward Biden in 2020.

After all the votes were counted, Moreno narrowly defeated the incumbent Brown, securing 50.19% of the vote to Brown’s 46.42%.
