“New French-Inspired Restaurant La Ville Lumière Opens in Cleveland”

A new culinary gem has arrived in Cleveland’s Edgewater neighborhood—La Ville Lumière. Located at 10427 Clifton Blvd, the restaurant officially opened its doors on September 23, offering a delightful array of French-inspired cuisine.

La Ville Lumière’s menu features an all-day selection of dishes, including steak tartare ($21), crafted with filet mignon, capers, shallots, egg, mustard, herbs, olive oil, crostini, and petite greens. Another highlight is the Croque Madame ($19), a brioche sandwich filled with ham, gruyère cheese, Dijon mustard, Mornay sauce, and topped with a fried egg. For steak lovers, the steak frites ($32) showcases an 8-ounce butcher’s cut.

During dinner service, patrons can enjoy specialties like bouillabaisse ($48), a seafood medley of shrimp, clams, mussels, chargrilled octopus, scallops, tomatoes, onions, garlic, saffron, and fish fumet. The loup de mer ($47) features a pan-seared sea bass basted with herb butter.

On Saturdays, La Ville Lumière serves a delightful brunch from 11 AM to 3 PM, featuring dishes such as shrimp cocktail ($20), house-made breakfast sausage ($10), duck confit hash ($19), and a smoked salmon tower ($35), which includes thinly sliced smoked salmon, red onion, dill, capers, tomato, whipped cream cheese, and toasted bagels.

A recent Yelp review praises the new establishment, reflecting the excitement surrounding its opening.

“The French European Bistro opened recently and I’m so excited to have tried it!!!
It’s a great place for an intimate but casual enough restaurant. One recommendation I would give is that the menus are a bit large compared to the quaint table sizes and I would’ve liked a booklet menu instead.
Our server William was attentive and very kind. We felt very welcomed coming in.
They had a special for an entire lobster which I had to try because that’s so hard to find in cleveland. It does come with harcot verts and potatoes which is nice.
The lamb rack is a must!!!! It’s a huge portion and cooked to perfection.
The escargot is a French classic and there were so many in there! I do wish we got a little bit more bread with it.
I’m so happy that La Ville Lumiere opened for people to try new food experiences that aren’t readily available in cleveland”
