Lucky Winner in Northeast Ohio Takes Home $1M from Scratch-Off
The Ohio Lottery announced that a $1 million winner was sold at a gas station in Copley. The winning ticket was purchased at Stoney Hills Station on Medina Rd.
The lucky winner bought a $30 Extreme Millions scratch-off ticket. She chose the cash option, receiving $500,000 before taxes. After mandatory state and federal tax deductions totaling 28%, she will take home approximately $360,000.
Extreme Millions offers a top prize of $400,000 a year for 25 years, and as of November 10, two top prizes remain in the game.
This is the second $1 million scratch-off win in just a few weeks. FOX 8 previously reported that a Sandusky woman won $1 million on a $20 Cashword scratch-off ticket.
