It’s important to note that SSI payments are not automatically linked to regular Social Security benefits. Therefore, receiving Social Security does not mean a person qualifies for SSI and vice versa.

Tools to Calculate Payments

The Social Security Administration provides an SSI calculator for recipients to estimate their total monthly payments, helping them understand their benefits based on their unique circumstances.
