According to Washington Examiner, Millions of Supplemental Security Income (SSI) beneficiaries are set to receive their monthly payment for November, worth up to $943, in just 15 days. These payments are crucial for individuals with severe disabilities that limit their ability to earn income, according to the Social Security Administration (SSA).
SSI Payments Scheduled for November 1
The next round of SSI payments will be distributed on November 1, 2024. SSI is designed to provide financial support to individuals living with disabilities that impact their capacity to work and earn a sufficient income.
Payment Amounts Based on Filing Status
The amount SSI recipients receive depends on their filing status:
- Individuals filing alone: Can receive up to $943 per month.
- Couples filing jointly: Can receive up to $1,415 per month.
- Essential persons (those providing essential care to SSI recipients): Can receive up to $472.
Due to inflation, these payment amounts have seen an increase of 3.2% compared to the previous year.

Eligibility Requirements for SSI
