Teen in Critical Condition After Shooting in Cleveland’s Corlett Neighborhood
An 18-year-old male is in critical condition following a shooting near East 153rd and Glendale Avenue in Cleveland on Wednesday, according to Cleveland EMS. The incident occurred around 5:10 p.m.
Javonte McCoy, a neighbor living across the street, expressed concern about the violence, saying, “I’m worried about the young man shot in the house. Is he okay? Because I saw crime scene tape, and when that comes, it means there’s something bad.”
During the investigation, a man and a woman inside the house were handcuffed and placed in two separate police cruisers. It remains unclear whether they were arrested or simply being questioned by the authorities.
A visibly upset woman arrived at the scene to retrieve a baby from the home as police continued their investigation.
