How Much Will SNAP Recipients Receive?
The amount of SNAP benefits varies based on household size, income, and individual needs. For instance:
- Individuals: Up to $291 (average of $202).
- Families of 4: Up to $973 (average of $713).
- Families of 8: Up to $1,751 (average of $1,196).
Additionally, households may receive $219 for each additional eligible member. If your state has already completed its SNAP payments for September, you will need to wait until October for the next distribution cycle.
