Parma Police Deploy Drone to Assist Cleveland in Suspect Search

Early Thursday morning, Parma police officers utilized a drone to assist Cleveland police in their search for a suspect who fled a traffic stop. The incident began around 12:30 a.m. when Cleveland police pulled over a driver at the intersection of E. 22nd Street and Community College Blvd. The suspect, however, abandoned the vehicle and ran from the scene.

In response, Parma police deployed their drone to aid in the search efforts. Despite the initial search, it was called off shortly after, and the suspect remains at large.

Notably, Cleveland police drones have been inactive since May, remaining in storage during this time.
