Man Charged with Child Endangerment After Dragging Baby in Overturned Stroller in St. Louis
A man is facing charges of child endangerment after reportedly dragging a baby in an overturned stroller down a street in St. Louis.
Police say Tamadj A. Shakesperae was seen dragging a 2-month-old baby in an overturned stroller along Olive Street on Monday. He later stopped to vomit and then left the baby in the stroller in the middle of the road.
The incident was captured on surveillance video, according to police.
Court documents reveal that Shakesperae admitted to smoking K2, a synthetic form of marijuana, before the incident while the infant was in his care. He has been charged with a felony count of endangering the welfare of a child.
