Intoxicated Woman Arrested at Alabama High School, Identified as Substitute Teacher
Officials with Morgan County Schools in Alabama reported that a woman, believed to be intoxicated, was removed from Priceville High School on Wednesday.
Police identified the woman as 44-year-old Brandi Michelle Bomar, who is suspected to be a substitute teacher. According to school officials, Bomar, who was not working for the school at the time, appeared intoxicated and was seen loitering on the high school campus.
School resource officers and Priceville police acted swiftly to remove her from the premises.
Bomar was later arrested by Priceville police on charges of public intoxication and illegal possession of prohibited liquor. While authorities confirmed that she is a substitute teacher, it remains unclear if she had worked at Priceville High School prior to the incident.
School officials emphasized that there was never any threat to students or faculty during the incident.
