Check Your Vote Status: Was Your Early Vote Received in Ohio?
Did you vote early and want to check if your ballot has been processed?
The Ohio Secretary of State’s website provides a convenient way to track your absentee ballot. If you cast your vote by mail or in-person before Election Day, you can easily verify the status of your ballot.
To track your absentee ballot, visit VoteOhio.gov and click on the “Track Your Absentee Ballot” option. This will direct you to a list or map of counties, allowing you to navigate to your specific county’s board of elections website. Once there, simply enter your name to view your ballot status.
Each Board of Elections (BOE) website will display whether your vote was cast by mail or in-person, along with the date your ballot was processed and received.
Keep in mind that ballots will not be counted or included in the election results until polls close at 7:30 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, November 5. After the polls close, counties will start counting and reporting early voting totals, followed by the final results, which FOX 8 will track on our website.
If you did not vote absentee, remember that polls will be open on November 5 from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
