“Brunswick Police Address Social Media Threat Targeting School District”
BRUNSWICK, Ohio (WOIO) — Brunswick Police are investigating a social media threat directed at the Brunswick City School District that was reported on Friday.
The threat, which was posted on Snapchat, was also received by several other school districts. Brunswick Police have determined that the threat is not credible. The department has issued the following statement:
The Division of Police works closely with the school district to ensure the safety of our students. School Resource Officers will be available and on duty at schools throughout the district. Additionally, officers will be conducting extra checks and patrols of our schools.
