Police: Stow Woman Killed by Uncle in Tragic Stabbing Incident
A man was arrested after calling 911 and admitting he had stabbed his niece, according to police in Stow, Ohio. Officers arrived around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday on Baird Road, where they found 46-year-old John Lorkowski standing in the driveway, covered in blood and on the phone. He was unarmed and taken into custody without resistance.
The victim, identified as 32-year-old Sharee Hutch, was reportedly stabbed multiple times in the chest and neck. A second caller told police she had managed to disarm Lorkowski after the attack.
Though the police reports are heavily redacted, no motive for the stabbing has been released. Lorkowski, who has no prior criminal record or previous police reports filed at the residence, was treated for cuts on his hand. He is currently held on a $500,000 bond.
