This store boasts the largest wine collection of any Costco in the U.S., including rare spirits like premium whiskeys and Tequilas, creating a unique shopping experience that has excited many.

Shoppers eagerly lined up outside to explore the wine offerings, which Napa’s general manager, Tim Stone, described as “insane.” Stone, who previously managed a Costco in Lodi, shared, “Our wine selection had around 70 to 90 SKUs in Lodi. Here in Napa, we have over 174 SKUs, almost double.”

Costco enthusiasts on Reddit recently discussed insider tips for recognizing deals in the store. A shared photo of a refrigerator with different price tags prompted a shopper to ask about the pricing difference, to which others responded with guidance.
Prices ending in “.97” signify clearance pricing, while an asterisk (*) next to a price means the item will not be restocked at that particular warehouse. However, an asterisk alone does not indicate a markdown.

Some stores now require a valid membership card scan upon entry, a measure designed to prevent non-members from entering. Emilio Gonzalez, a customer at the Winter Springs, Florida, Costco, noted the new setup, saying, “At my local Costco, I discovered that entry is now conditional upon scanning a valid membership card.”

Costco’s iconic food court began with a hot dog vendor hired in 1984 at its San Diego location. Over time, the food court expanded, and Costco’s $1.50 hot dog combo became a staple.
