Other Recent Class Action Settlements

This settlement follows a trend of class action lawsuits related to privacy breaches. For instance, streaming giant Tubi recently agreed to pay nearly $20 million to settle a class action lawsuit alleging that it shared users’ personal information with third parties without consent, violating the Video Privacy Protection Act. Class members must submit a valid claim form by November 28 to receive benefits from the Tubi settlement.
