Cleveland Police Make Arrest in Connection to Street Takeover Incident

Cleveland police announced Thursday that they have made an arrest related to a recent street takeover. Eighteen-year-old Gauge Michael Thomas Franklin from Akron was apprehended on charges of aggravated arson.

The arrest is linked to fires that occurred during a street takeover on September 15 at the intersection of West 25th Street and Lorain Avenue. Police reported that a vehicle involved in the incident was towed from the scene.

Authorities also confirmed that a warrant remains active for 20-year-old John Alan Dietrich from Barberton.
