“Trial Opens for Cleveland Man Accused of Killing 4, Including Pregnant Woman”
CLEVELAND (WJW) — The Fox 8 I-Team is closely monitoring the latest developments in the case of four individuals found dead in a Cleveland home, as the trial of the suspected killer, Terrill Silver, gets underway.
After nearly five years, Silver has finally been brought to trial. He is facing multiple charges, including aggravated murder, in connection with the deaths of four people, including a pregnant woman, in September 2019.
During the opening statements in a Cuyahoga County courtroom, Silver sat quietly beside his attorneys. Prosecutors asserted that the evidence presented will demonstrate Silver’s guilt on all counts. In contrast, Silver’s defense team argued that there will be no evidence to prove his guilt, maintaining his innocence.
The victims have been identified as Dejuan Damar Willis, Ayanna Quitman, Christopher Monroe, and Jazmyne Lawson.
The trial is set to continue on Wednesday and is expected to last approximately four days.
