Eligibility Requirements for the September 25 Payment:

  • Applied for Social Security retirement or disability benefits.
  • Received approval for benefits.
  • Did not violate any SSA rules.
  • Were born between the 21st and the 31st of the month.
  • Are not recipients of SSI.
  • Did not start receiving benefits before May 1997.

Payment Amounts for Social Security Retirement, SSDI, and SSI Benefits

It’s important to note that these monthly payments will not include the 2025 COLA increase, meaning the maximum amounts for retirement, SSI, and SSDI remain unchanged for this period.

  • Average SSDI Payments: Approximately $1,539 (nearly $1,540)
  • SSI Maximum Amounts:
