Three Suspects in Custody After Gulfport Shooting Over Followed Vehicle
Three individuals have been arrested in connection with a drive-by shooting that occurred on October 23, 2024, in Gulfport, Mississippi. The incident took place in the 1100 Block of Hardy Avenue when Devon Rechard Wilkerson, 24, believed he was being followed by another vehicle. In response, Wilkerson fired several shots from a firearm, striking a second vehicle.
Following the shooting, Wilkerson and the two other people in the car fled the scene. On October 23, Gulfport Police arrested Donnez Rafeyon Lebron Yarbor and Na’Alhyia Nakia Miller, both 20, charging them with one count each of drive-by shooting.
The next day, on October 24, Wilkerson was apprehended and also charged with one count of drive-by shooting.
