In Florida, SNAP benefits are distributed from November 1 to November 28. The payment date is based on the last two digits of a recipient’s case number, reading from the ninth and eighth digits backward, while dropping the tenth digit. Recipients whose case numbers end in 96-99 will receive their SNAP benefits on Thanksgiving Day, November 28.

The maximum benefit amounts for Florida SNAP recipients are as follows:

  • Individual: up to $292
  • Household of 2: up to $536
  • Household of 3: up to $768

In Texas, certain Eligibility Determination Group numbers qualify recipients to receive their SNAP benefits on Thanksgiving Day. Recipients with Eligibility Determination Group numbers ending in 42-45, 50-53, or 96-99 will see their payments deposited on November 28. The benefit amounts for Texas SNAP recipients are consistent with Florida’s maximum allotments.
