When officers attempted to stop the vehicle, the driver fled, eventually stopping at a gas station on East 105th Street and St. Clair Avenue. Inside the station, police arrested a 14-year-old suspect and seized a firearm found at the scene.

While officers were making the arrest, another suspect inside the Kia moved to the driver’s seat and reversed the car into a detective’s vehicle. Fortunately, no injuries occurred.

The remaining two suspects, another 14-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy, fled the scene but were quickly apprehended nearby.
