Mega Millions Jackpot Soars to $800 Million After No Winner in Friday’s Drawing
According to Cleveland 19, The Mega Millions jackpot has increased yet again after no one matched all the winning numbers in Friday’s drawing.
The numbers drawn were 6, 23, 41, 59, 63, and the gold Mega Ball 25. While no ticket matched all six numbers, five tickets sold in California, Florida, Illinois, New Hampshire, and Texas each won $1 million by matching five numbers. Additionally, one ticket in Ohio is worth $2 million.
With no jackpot winner, the grand prize now climbs to an estimated $800 million, with a cash option of $401.8 million, according to the Mega Millions website. If claimed, it would be the seventh-largest jackpot in Mega Millions history.
The last time the Mega Millions jackpot was won was on June 4, when a ticket sold in Illinois claimed a $552 million prize. The next drawing is set for Tuesday, September 10.
