McDonald’s lauches 50c deal for National Cheeseburger Day – how to claim your burger
McDonald’s is treating fans to an incredible deal in honor of National Cheeseburger Day. On September 18, the fast-food giant is offering double cheeseburgers for just 50 cents, allowing customers to indulge in one of their most popular items at an unbeatable price.
To take advantage of this limited-time offer, customers simply need to download the McDonald’s app and place their order through it, as reported by People.
More Value with Meal Deals
In addition to the cheeseburger deal, food enthusiasts can enjoy McDonald’s infamous $5 meal deal, which will be available until December. This enticing offer includes a choice of either a McDouble or McChicken, along with fries, chicken McNuggets, and a fizzy drink.
The president of McDonald’s stated, “Customers are looking for even more great value from us, and this summer that’s exactly what they’ll get.”
New Flavors and Promotions
Recently, McDonald’s launched a brand new drink available to all UK customers after the success of the Grimace Shake in the US. This sweet treat, inspired by the chain’s purple Grimace mascot from the 1970s, features a blueberry-flavored syrup blended with a creamy milkshake base. A medium drink is priced at £2.69, while a large version costs £2.99, although prices may vary by location.
Meanwhile, McDonald’s fans in the UK and Ireland have been enjoying a £3 meal deal that allows them to select three dishes for just £3 since it launched on July 31. However, the chain recently announced that customers had only days left to take advantage of this offer.
Previously, between May 22 and June 10, the meal deal included a miniature McFlurry, but this item was omitted from the latest promotion. Customers had until August 28 to choose from a selection of eight items, including a cheeseburger, apple pie, or mayo chicken, resulting in 100 possible food combinations.
Expanding Presence
In exciting news for McDonald’s fans, the company plans to open an additional 200 restaurants across the UK and Ireland over the next four years. This expansion marks the largest growth initiative for McDonald’s in over two decades. Currently, the UK McDonald’s business operates 1,435 restaurants, with around 80% owned and managed by franchisees.
