Madison Rich: Lakewood Family’s Heartfelt Search for Missing Daughter
It has been 36 days since anyone has seen or heard from 17-year-old Madison Rich, and her family is desperately seeking her return.
“It has just been very emotional. Very draining,” says Tracey Rich, Madison’s mother.
Tracey reported her daughter missing on August 15 after Madison left their Lakewood home. After tracking her cell phone, Lakewood police believe Madison may have been at a hotel in Warrensville Heights and in the vicinity of South Miles Road, Lee Road, and Harvard Road at the end of August. Since then, her phone has either been turned off or has run out of battery.
“We are still holding out hope. We are still looking. The community support has been incredible,” Tracey Rich stated.
For the past month, Tracey has been actively sharing information about her daughter on social media. With assistance from Erie Designs, she has placed two large signs in their front yard featuring Madison’s photo and details.
“We just want to remind everyone that she is still missing and to please keep an eye out,” Rich added.
Erie Designs is offering similar signs to anyone in the community wishing to assist in the search.
Madison has dark hair, which is naturally blonde, and a spider tattoo on her left arm. She also has a mole on the left side of her cheek.
“Maddie, if you see this, please come home. If you are able to, please try to return. And if anyone has my Maddie, please let her go,” Tracey pleaded.
Tracey remains hopeful that her daughter will return home before her 18th birthday next month.
