Kroger Launches ‘Asian Experience’ Stores in Texas Featuring Diverse Foods and Fresh Decor
According to The Sun ,Kroger has announced plans to open two new stores with a unique concept that will differentiate them from the retailer’s typical locations. The stores, set to debut next year in the Dallas, Texas area, will feature an “Asian experience,” offering a variety of Asian foods and multicultural products to better serve the growing local community.
The two existing Kroger stores in Denton County and Collin County will be remodeled to include a broader selection of Asian food items, new signage, and updated decor. While the exact locations have yet to be confirmed, the chain is focusing on catering to the area’s expanding Asian population, as reported by The Dallas Morning News.
This initiative follows a similar strategy Kroger implemented in other parts of Texas, including a “Hispanic Experience” store in Dallas, which featured Hispanic foods and bilingual signage. In Houston, a recent store remodel introduced new offerings such as store-made ceviche and a juice bar selling fresh juices and smoothies, with traditional seasonings like chamoy and tajin.
