No Admission of Wrongdoing
While CLIF Bar has not admitted any wrongdoing, the settlement aims to address the false advertising lawsuit. Eligible customers can receive cash payouts depending on the number of bars purchased, with a maximum payment of $50.
Payment Tiers for Customers
Payments will be structured based on the quantity of bars purchased:
- $5 for up to 30 bars
- $10 for between 31 and 59 bars
- $15 for over 60 bars
Customers can receive payments with or without proof of purchase. However, those who can provide proof will receive $15 for the first 60 bars purchased, and for each additional bar, they will earn 25 cents for a maximum total of $50.
Claim Submission Deadline
To receive payment, all claim forms must be submitted by November 25, 2024.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the cash settlement, customers must have purchased one of the eligible CLIF Bar products. This includes:
- CLIF Bars labeled with “Nutrition for Sustained Energy”
- CLIF Kid ZBars featuring claims like “No High Fructose Corn Syrup” and “Nourishing Kids in Motion,” among others.
