Police in Cuyahoga County are actively searching for Edward Adams, a Cleveland man designated as a repeat violent offender. An arrest warrant has been issued for Adams, who was last seen in the 7000 block of Madison Avenue, Cleveland.
Adams, who stands 5’11” and weighs 150 pounds, has a lengthy criminal history, including a 2023 conviction for being a felon in possession of a firearm. This charge stems from an incident in 2022 when Adams allegedly fired at a victim in a vehicle. Due to a prior felony conviction for attempted unlawful sexual conduct with a minor in 2003, Adams is legally prohibited from possessing firearms.
His criminal record also includes a conviction for aggravated robbery, and he is now violating parole conditions. Adams faces several charges, including:
