Colombia Seizes Over 2,000 Pounds of Cocaine Hidden in Sugar Bags
Authorities in Colombia have successfully seized 2,140 pounds of cocaine hidden in sacks of sugar. The national police released a video from the operation at the Santa Marta port, showcasing a police dog identifying the concealed narcotics.
General William Rene Salamanca Ramirez, the director general of the national police, confirmed that the cocaine was intended for Belgium and is estimated to have a street value exceeding $37 million.
As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the seizure.
