CMSD Miles School Break-In: Minimal Damage After Weekend Incident

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) — The Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD) has confirmed that Miles School, located at 11918 Miles Ave. on Cleveland’s East Side, was broken into on Saturday night.

According to CMSD, the suspects gained entry by breaking a glass window. However, CMSD reported on Monday afternoon that the broken window has since been replaced. The damage was minimal, as most classrooms were locked at the time of the incident.

The district’s Safety and Security team was promptly alerted and continues to monitor the situation. CMSD has urged anyone with information about the break-in to contact their Safety and Security team at 216-838-0420 or the Cleveland Division of Police Fourth District at 216-623-5400.

19 News has reached out to Cleveland police to inquire about any potential suspects involved in the break-in.
