Cleveland Police Investigate After Body Found in Burning Car
Cleveland Police responded to a car fire early Saturday morning, where firefighters discovered a body inside the vehicle.
Officers arrived at the intersection of East 138th Street and Aspinwall Avenue shortly after 2:15 a.m. Firefighters had been called to the scene earlier to extinguish the car fire and subsequently found the body within the charred remains of the vehicle.
The body has been transported to the medical examiner’s office for identification. Meanwhile, the Cleveland Police Homicide Unit is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident.
