Cleveland Firefighters Respond to Blaze at Collinwood Convenience Store
A fire broke out at the Collinwood Convenience Store on St. Clair Avenue on the city’s east side overnight.
Fire crews quickly responded to the scene, where they were seen cutting into the building to gain access. Neighbors reported that the store had closed for the night around 10:30 p.m., and smoke was first noticed around 11:00 p.m.
While the cause of the fire remains under investigation, firefighters estimate the damage at approximately $200,000.
