Lorain Family Desperately Searching for Missing Mother of Six, $10K Reward
A Lorain family is desperately searching for their missing loved one, 33-year-old Desiree Simone, a mother of six who vanished on October 8. Simone was last seen getting into a vehicle with an unknown person in Lorain, and it remains unclear where she was headed.
Family members have received unconfirmed reports that Simone may have been spotted in Sandusky in the past week. They are now pleading for her safe return.
Her aunt, Danielle Long, shared her concerns, recalling that she hadn’t heard from Simone, who would usually contact her regularly via social media, asking for small favors like $5. After a week without contact, Long reached out to Simone’s friends, who also had no information, sparking the search for answers.
Long emphasized how shocking it was that no one had heard from Simone, as she was always in touch. Over the weekend, Simone’s friends and family organized a search in Lorain for any clues about her whereabouts, but unfortunately, they came up empty.
“People are really concerned about her,” Long said, “and everyone loves her.”
The family is holding onto hope that Simone will return in time for the holidays. “Someone claimed to have seen her, but we need something visual—like a picture—before we can be sure,” Long added.
In an effort to gather information, the family is offering a $10,000 reward for any credible tip that leads to finding Simone.
