Mojo Donuts to Shut Down All Miami Locations This Week, Fans Devastated
According to The Sun , Mojo Donuts, a beloved donut chain in Miami, has confirmed it will close its three Miami locations on November 15, leaving loyal customers devastated. The company made the announcement via Instagram, expressing deep gratitude to its fans for their support over the years.
“It’s time to say goodbye,” the post read. “After an incredible journey of serving up smiles, sweets, and that unmistakable Mojo, we’re beyond grateful for the love from each of you. You’ve made every donut, every smile, and every day unforgettable.”
Mojo Donuts assured customers that the Miami stores on Bird Road, Kendall, and Coral Gables will shut their doors, but the original Pembroke Pines location will remain open. The decision to close the Miami stores comes down to rising costs, particularly inflation, which has made it difficult for smaller businesses to keep up.
Co-founder Jimmy Piedrahita shared that the increased costs of ingredients, like the doubling of flour prices, had made the business unsustainable. “It’s heartbreaking,” Piedrahita said. “Larger restaurants can absorb the cost of inflation, but small businesses like ours can’t just raise the price of a donut to $17.”

Despite the closure, the brand encouraged patrons to visit the remaining days of business in Miami, hoping to create lasting memories with the loyal fanbase. “Let’s make these last days count, together!” the post concluded.
