Last Chance to Score $4,200 from $900,000 Data Breach Settlement—Easy Cash Claim!

According to The Sun, Time is running out for individuals to claim their share of a settlement related to a data breach involving the software company Paycom. Notably, those affected do not need to provide any proof to qualify for compensation.

Background of the Lawsuit

The lawsuit was filed against Paycom, which provides payroll and human resources technology to thousands of businesses. Plaintiffs alleged that the company failed to adequately protect clients’ personal information during a data breach that occurred in 2023. The breach reportedly involved unauthorized access to client data through MOVEit Transfer, a secure file transfer application. While Paycom has not admitted any wrongdoing, it has agreed to a $900,000 settlement to resolve the claims and avoid incurring further legal costs.

Filing a Claim

The Claim Login ID and Claim Login PIN are essential for submitting a claim online through the settlement website. Importantly, no documentation is required to prove losses, as Paycom already has records of affected clients. The deadline to file a claim is set for November 7, 2024, and this date also applies to the exclusion and objection deadlines. A final hearing to approve the settlement will take place on December 13, 2024. Failing to file by the deadline could result in individuals missing out on substantial compensation.
