November Payment Update: SSDI Recipients to Receive Two Direct Deposits
According to Vibes.okdiario, SSDI recipients will receive one of four scheduled Social Security payments in November. To qualify for any of these payments, individuals must have filed and received approval from the Social Security Administration (SSA) while also meeting other eligibility criteria.
Disability benefits come in two forms: Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI). Occasionally, eligible recipients may receive both types of payments on the same payday, which is set to happen in November.
SSI and SSDI Payments on November 1, 2024
All SSI recipients will receive their monthly payment on November 1, 2024. For those receiving Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) payments, November 1 may also be an important date.
Usually, individuals scheduled to receive SSDI payments on November 3 would expect their check or direct deposit on that day. However, since November 3 is not a business day, the SSA has rescheduled these payments for the previous business day. Therefore, eligible SSDI recipients will receive their payments on November 1, 2024.
Two Payments on November 1: SSDI and SSI
Some recipients will see two payments on November 1—one for SSDI and one for SSI. To be eligible for this double deposit, individuals must:
- Qualify for both SSI and SSDI
- Ensure continued eligibility by adhering to Social Security rules
It’s important to note that none of the November payments for SSI or SSDI will include the 2.5% Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) increase announced on October 10, 2024. SSI recipients will see the COLA boost on December 31, 2024, while SSDI recipients will not receive the adjustment until January 2025.

SSI and SSDI Payment Amounts
SSI recipients can receive up to $3,822, though the average payment is closer to $1,539. Meanwhile, individuals on SSI can expect payments of up to $943, with an average of $698. Eligible married couples may receive up to $1,415.
After the COLA boost, payments will increase to $967 for individuals and $1,450 for couples.
