Fugitive Arrested After Confrontation at Beachwood Mall
A seemingly minor confrontation at Beachwood Mall on October 6 turned serious, resulting in the arrest of a fugitive with an extensive criminal history.
The incident began when a 16-year-old boy accused Kevin Patrick of staring at his twin sister. While mall security footage did not provide clear evidence, police became suspicious when Patrick gave a false name and date of birth.
Officers returned to the station to retrieve a fingerprint scanner, but Patrick refused to provide his fingerprints. Eventually, they discovered his identification in his wallet, which led to a records check revealing that he was wanted for violating probation.
Patrick’s criminal background includes charges of assault, stalking, and abduction. He was arrested and charged with providing false information to police, in addition to the outstanding warrant.
