“Cleveland Man Charged with Shooting and Burning Woman’s Body”
A 37-year-old man has been arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service in connection with the alleged murder of a woman earlier this year. Michael H. Hurley is facing charges of aggravated murder following accusations that he shot a 44-year-old woman in the head on May 8 at a residence located on East 88th Place.
Authorities revealed that firefighters discovered the woman’s body while responding to a fire at the home in the Hough neighborhood. The subsequent investigation led to the identification of Hurley as the prime suspect, resulting in the issuance of a warrant for his arrest.
On Friday morning, U.S. Marshals located Hurley in the 2700 block of Lancashire Road in Cleveland Heights and took him into custody.
