65-Year-Old Man Severely Injured in Cleveland Train Incident
A 65-year-old man sustained critical injuries to his lower extremities in a train accident on Tuesday, as reported by Cleveland EMS. The incident occurred around 5 p.m. at the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA) station located along East 55th Street, just north of Interstate 490.
According to a spokesperson for the GCRTA, the man fell off the platform just as a train was approaching from the east. Emergency medical services transported him to a local hospital, where he was treated for his serious injuries.
