May 4, 2023
After eight years of hosting the “Late Late Show” and succeeding Craig Ferguson, British actor James Gordon is preparing to bid farewell. Known for his role in the sitcom “Gavin and Stacy,” Gordon gained recognition in the United States and met a variety of artists during his time hosting the show, including actors, actresses, chefs, and singers.
James Gordon was a beloved figure for his entertaining segments like Carpool Karaoke, Drop the Mic, Spill Your guts, and Crosswalk Musicals. In response to his departure from the show, he stated, “It’s been a really hard decision to leave because I’m so immensely proud of the show,” according to The Deadline. The “Late Late Show” Youtube page has gained almost 10 billion views and over 26 million subscribers thanks to his contributions. Despite offers from producers and CBS Chiefs for a three-year, two-year, and rolling one-year deal, James Gordon was determined to move on and embark on a new adventure.
James Gordon is a talented individual who has achieved a lot in his career so far. Regardless of his decision to part ways with The Late Late Show, he has a promising future ahead of him. Gordon has already acted in notable films such as Peter Rabbit, Cats, and The Prom, earning his first Golden Globe for his performance. He even hosted Friends: The Reunion on HBO Max and is partnered with the production company responsible for The Kardashians. “Out of respect for all of the [staff], I want to tell them that now and say that we can really go into this last year with absolute enthusiasm and passion and love,” he said. “These shows are not built by one person. I’m very fortunate I get to work with some people whose talents and gifts just blow my mind.” Gordon stated.

“My intention is to try and go out in exactly the same way we came in, which is just going out with a bang,” Gordon added. While some are already wondering about his next move, we can only offer our best wishes for his future endeavors.
