Monday, October 10, at 7:00pm, for spirit week, the Freshman Student Council prepared and hosted the movie, “Ghostbusters: Afterlife.” Out on the soccer field, a screen was set up, and they projected a movie with a sound system provided by Mr. Rainville.
The event was a success for the Freshman Student Council’s first ever event, having many people show up. All the money is contributed to a fund going to host homecoming next year and for years to come.
The Freshman Student Council did a great job planning and executing the movie with concessions earning a ton of money by selling candy brought in by students along with chips and pink lemonade which was included when people bought their ticket for a three dollar admission fee. This year, Freshman Student Council was able to earn around $890, almost $300 more than last year.
The Freshman will end spirit week with the parade and the pep rally.
