History was made the last two weekends at Coachella 2022. The festival came to an end on Sunday, April 24. Many exciting things happened over the two weekends, so here is a recap of all the fun.
Harry Styles was one of the star performers of the weekend. He debuted two beautiful new tracks from upcoming album “Harry’s House,” “Boyfriends” and “Late Night Talking.” Harry Styles also performed with Lizzo, and they lit up the night by performing a duet of Gloria Gaynor’s classic “I Will Survive ” followed by the singing of “What Makes You Beautiful” by One Direction.
Billie Eilish made history by becoming the youngest headliner in the music festival’s history. She also welcomed some unexpected guests. Khalid surprised the audience when he joined her during “Lovely,” one of the singer’s most notable collabs. Eilish had a slight mishap during her last performance at the festival when she fell on her face in front of the attendees and those watching the YouTube livestream of the event. She totally owned the tumble with a funny response.
This was the first Coachella that has happened since the Covid-19 pandemic. The music festival was closed for two years, so this year was a very important event. A total of around 750,000 people attended, and it was sold out way in advance. This Coachella was a hit and full of explosive performances.
