First Week of The Presidency: Biden vs. Trump

With no time to waste, U.S. President Joe Biden quickly got to work in his first week of the presidency.

He began undoing the policies of former President Trump in his first few days in office. Biden has signed over 30 executive orders from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic to immigration reform.

Many are pleased to see that President Biden got to work immediately. He informed the American people of his plan to accomplish several goals in his first 100 days.

Former President Trump’ s first days looked differently than Biden’s. The former president intended to celebrate his victory. During his first week in office, he spent time on social media and did not plan to begin working until the following week.

On Trump’s Inauguration Day, he did get some things in order. A few being the construction of a wall along the United States-Mexico border, immigration reform, and limits on the health care law. The former president issued an executive order on refugee admission and immigration bans. He also moved to repeal Obamacare, which dealt with health care.

Many argue that President Biden is making America “great again” just in his first few days as compared to the four years of former President Trump. Before becoming president, Joe Biden was under pressure due to the COVID-19 pandemic and many other concerns.

Americans were pleased to see his eagerness and commitment to his country. The Biden-Harris administration is ready to work and turn the nation around.
